Balance of dwellings analysis (Oxford City)
This is a unique policy based on the evidence of our study of that name. It provides evidence as to the size of new dwellings required to address future population changes. In a planning appeal dated 9 th December 2009 (concerning development at Risinghurst, Oxford) the Inspector said that the proposed development was otherwise acceptable but would ‘unacceptably contribute to an imbalance in the housing market’ (para 16).
